9. SUMMARY:

John was on the island of Patmos. There, while caught up in the spirit, he was given a series of visions showing the progressive unfolding of events from the First Coming through to the New Heavens and New Earth. The first three chapters show Christ's relationship to His church, local and universal. The remainder of the book deals with the following subjects; the seven-sealed book (Ch. 4-7), the seven trumpets (Ch. 8-11), the tribulation (Ch. 12-14), the seven vials (Ch. 15-6), Mystery Babylon (Ch. 17-18), the Second Coming, the Kingdom and the New Heavens and New Earth (Ch. 19-22). All that began in Genesis pertaining to the Old Creation, finds its consummation in Revelation which then introduces the New Creation.

10.CHRIST SEEN:

Christ is seen as the Head of the Church, the Lamb, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Jehovah Angel, the Bridegroom, the Word, the Faithful and True, and the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
